Zoo Encounters: V for Vertebrate

Join us for an exciting new series, Zoo Encounters, where guests of all ages (3 and up) can get up close with live animals from Roger Williams Park Zoo! In partnership with the zoo, each event will explore a different theme, offering a fascinating look into the animal kingdom.

Our first event, V for Vertebrates, dives into what makes a mammal a mammal and what makes a bird a bird. Through live animal encounters, guests will discover how scientists classify animals based on their structural and behavioral adaptations.

This intimate experience is designed to respect the animals’ sensitivity to noise, so attendance is limited. Enjoy cookies and lemonade, with a glass of sparkling wine available for adults.
