Buck Moon Paddle
Details
Join us for a magical evening as we celebrate the Buck Moon with a guided paddle led by our resident naturalist. This unique experience begins at Weekapaug Inn, where you’ll embark on a serene paddle through the tranquil waters under the glow of the rising supermoon.
The Buck Moon, named for the time of year when young male deer, or “bucks,” grow their antlers, is a stunning midsummer spectacle. This particular full moon is a supermoon, appearing larger and brighter as it reaches its closest point to Earth.
Your journey will lead to a secluded beach where the natural beauty of the moonlit landscape takes center stage. Once there, enjoy a celebratory champagne toast as you take in the breathtaking sight of the Buck Moon illuminating the horizon.
No prior paddling experience is necessary; our naturalist will ensure you feel confident and comfortable throughout the adventure. Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot today for this unforgettable night beneath the stars.
Please note, tickets purchased for this event are non-refundable unless the event is canceled due to inclement weather. Weekapaug Inn reserves the right to cancel or postpone water events and outings, at its sole discretion, due to weather conditions and other hazards.
