The sandy glacial soils of the Charlestown moraine are ideal for mountain laurels, and the Duval Trail runs through a thick forest of these beautiful native shrubs. Join the Weekapaug Inn Naturalist for an outing in late June when they are in full bloom. Enjoy the sights and smells of as you walk through tunnels of giant white and blush pink blossoms.

To ensure the enjoyment of all guests, this event is open to guests 16 years of age and older. Participants should be in adequate physical shape for two miles of moderate walking on single-track woodland trails over modest rolling terrain.

Cancellations must be received within 7 days of the event to avoid cancellation charge equal to full price. Weekapaug Inn reserves the right to cancel or postpone water events and outings, at its sole discretion, due to weather conditions and other hazards.
