Plein Air Painter Reception: David Dunlop

On select weekends this summer, notable artists are invited to Ocean House to share their artistic vision and give a demonstration of their skills.

Enjoy a glass of wine and reception at Ocean House on Saturday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. to meet the artist. Earlier that day, catch David Dunlop in action as the sea air, sweeping views of the Atlantic and more than 150 years of history serve as inspiration for a work of art.

About David Dunlop

David Dunlop is an Emmy award-winning television host and modern-day old master, whose luminous landscapes draw from both Renaissance techniques and contemporary science. His paintings have been shown internationally and are held in the collections of major corporations including Aetna Insurance, Citibank, Colgate Palmolive, Delta Airlines, GE Capital, IBM, Mobil and more.

He is also the engaging host and writer of the 13-show national PBS television series, Landscapes Through Time with David Dunlop, for which he won an Emmy and a CINE Golden Eagle Award in 2009. In 2017, his second series was nominated for an Emmy.
