Newport Ladies’ Book Club: Finding Mrs. Ford with Deborah Goodrich Royce & Sarah Vickers

Join the Newport Ladies’ Book Club along with Sarah Vickers in honor of the August Book Selection, “Finding Mrs. Ford,” by Deborah Goodrich Royce. Named one of the five must-read summer mysteries for 2019 by Forbes as well, as one of the top ten summer reads of 2019 by Good Morning America, “Finding Mrs. Ford,” rounds out the summer’s book selections for the Newport Ladies’ Book Club.

Attendees will have the chance to win big, with a raffle for a magnum of Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Sunday Jazz Brunch for 4 at Ocean House, and an overnight stay in the magnificent Tower Suite at Ocean House!

A portion of the proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Imagination Library, a foundation started by Dolly Parton who was inspired by her father’s inability to read. She saw literacy as a path to success and the program sends new books each month to children from infancy to age 5 around the world.

The menu for this event includes selections from the Veuve Clicquot Secret Garden hot dog menu, miniature lobster rolls and sparkling wine.
