Coastal Cottage Architecture with Thomas Kligerman
Details
We regret that this event is fully committed. We hope to welcome you for other special events this season.
In honor of the 125th anniversary of the Inn’s presence in the Weekapaug community, we invite you to come meet architect Thomas Kligerman and enjoy a discussion about Costal Cottage Architecture. Although Tom was raised in Connecticut, he is a Weekapaug resident, spent numerous summers along our shoreline, and shares beautifully captured architectural moments within Weekapaug and the coast on Instagram at @TomKligerman.
In this presentation, Tom will highlight some of the historic cottages of Weekapaug along with other wondrous residential architecture found in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Light refreshments will be served.
About Thomas Kligerman: The author of Shingle and Stone and founding partner of Kligerman Architecture & Design, Thomas Kligerman was raised in Connecticut and New Mexico and spent years in France and England as a student. Stern Architects and received his Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and his Master of Architecture from Yale School of Architecture. He is passionate about the design process and loves studying and creating architectural models. He serves on the boards of several charitable and educational institutions.
