Exclusive Locally Sourced Dinner Featuring James Beard Award-Winning Chef Sherry Pocknett and Manya Rubenstein, owner and operator of Rhode Island’s Industrious Spirit Company.
Enjoy a wonderful evening at Ocean House with an exquisite locally foraged, multi-course dinner in COAST. The chefs of Ocean House, joined by Chef Sherry Pocknett have crafted a spectacular menu featuring indigenous foods, with each course expertly paired with cocktails created using spirits from the Industrious Spirit Company (ISCO) in Providence, Rhode Island.
The cocktail reception will start at 7:00 p.m. followed by the dinner at 7:30 p.m. Space is limited. Open to guests 21 years of age and older. Please note: tickets purchased for this event are non-refundable.
ABOUT CHEF SHERRY POCKNETT:
Chef Sherry Pocknett is recipient of the 2023 James Beard Award for Best Chef in the Northeast and the first Indigenous woman to win the coveted honor. Chef Pocknett is the chef owner of Sly Fox Den Too in Charlestown, Rhode Island, the ancestral land of the Narragansett people. The restaurant is named after her late father Chief Sly Fox and opened in 2021 to critical acclaim. Sly Fox Den Too specializes in local Indigenous cuisine, sustainably sourced using traditional hunting, fishing, and farming techniques.
ABOUT INDUSTRIOUS SPIRIT COMPANY:
Manya Rubinstein, owner and operator of the Industrious Spirit Company (ISCO) in Providence, Rhode Island, will be in providing spirits for the dinner event and sharing more about her female-owned company which is Providence’s only distillery.
