On select weekends this summer, notable artists are invited to Ocean House to share their artistic vision and give a demonstration of their skills.
Enjoy a glass of wine and a reception at Ocean House on a beautiful Sunday evening to meet the artist. Earlier in the weekend, details below, catch John Tedeschi in action as the sea air, sweeping views of the Atlantic and more than 150 years of history serve as inspiration for a work of art.

About John Tedeschi
Artist John Tedeschi is a figurative, portrait painter based in Stonington, Connecticut. His work incorporates relief printmaking processes with traditional oil and watercolor mediums for a variety of applications. John is deeply integrated in his community and depicts everyday life by participating and portraying aspects of work and play. This series of works explores the concept of play.
As an educator, Tedeschi teaches drawing and painting at Westerly High School and is the Fine Arts Chair for the Westerly Public Schools. In 2017, John was recognized as Rhode Island Art Educator of the Year–an achievement he is very proud of. He earned his BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Illustration and more recently a Post-Baccalaureate certificate from Lyme Academy. John has been commissioned for public and private works–including set design for The Colonial Theater’s summer productions of Waiting for Godot “22 and the complete works of William Shakespeare ’21.
