Harbor Seals Tour

Location: Watch Hill at Plimpton Dock
Price: $30/ per person
One of our area's best kept secrets is the annual migration of the Harbor Seals to Fishers Island Sound. These fascinating creatures migrate south from cold, northern waters to enjoy or warmer water temperatures, abundant food supply, lack of predators and sunshine. Spring & Fall are ideal times to observe seals swimming, mating, hauling out on rocks, resting, socializing and sunning in groups.
Leave from Watch Hill for a 90-minute excursion off shore to the eastern tip of Fishers Island, New York. Utilizing the very best technology including military binoculars, underwater hydro-phone and submersible robotic camera, Captain Jack Spratt offers a truly amazing and informative experience. In addition, you will see three light houses, a USCG former life saving station and learn about the history of the region.
